Ah, we laughed, we cried. This has been the longest election ever and I’m glad it’s almost over. As a photographer, a picture means a gazillion words to me. I’d like to pay tribute to the photographers covering this election. Some of these are works of art that should be hung on walls. Some are just fantastic portraits. Nice. I especially like the contrast of the first two shots of shoes. There’s a poster in there somewhere.
McCain really can’t take a good picture. Fugly-ass dude.
In other news…I got the new issue of Country Living Magazine in the mail yesterday and it mentions RECLAIMED HOME at the Brooklyn Flea.
I’m not sure I can take credit for putting the shoe shots together. I think I may have seen it on a Huffington post or something.
I had some trouble finding good shots of McCain. I don’t care if the guy is fugly or hot (I vote fugly), I was looking for captured moments: thoughtful, energetic, compassionate, etc. He just looks so…. miserable all the time. And Palin! Now, she’s not bad looking. But every shot I saw of her, it just looked guarded and fake. I was surprised by the Hillary shots because that’s not what I was picking up from her during the primaries.
Anyhoo, I heard about Country Living! Too bad I no longer have those vintage glasses. They took those pics back in April.
I like the shoes, the picture of Hillary laughing, Obama with his hands together to the side of his face. I am glad this is coming to an end too. I definately have election fatigue as well, but only 12 days left. I’m still going to Philly to campaign for Obama on Sundays (now by bus – tired of the drive) if anyone wants to come.
I love this round-up of photos. Love. I’m very ready for this election to end. As you know, I am on the brink of a nervous breakdown.
