I saw this on Low Impact Living. Although it seems kind of icky to me that you’re washing your hands with toilet water, I’ve gotta admit it’s a cool idea.
The hose is directly attached to the supply line, so it’s not water from the tank. When the toilet is flushed, the water that is normally used to refill the tank will come out of the faucet. This becomes grey water after washing hands, which is then used to fill the tank.
I still wouldn’t want to brush my teeth with it though.
Sink Positive sells for $89 and $109 for the deluxe.

I agree. Icky. I’d have to wash my hands after washing my hands. Kind of defeats the purpose.
I wonder if you end up with a lot of soap bubbles & deposits in the tank? My cat would love this…
I love it!! Right now we ahve a bathroom without a sink and I could easily use it there. The water’s coming from the supply line. It only ends up in the toilet. If you really do not want to contaminate your mouth/ toothbrushes, lower your toilet lid before you flush, SINK POSITIVE or not. Flushing creates aerosols of the toilet contents that can find their way to all kinds of bathroom surfaces.
Ok, I can see that. Great thing to have during a renovation if you only have a toilet.
I just found out about lowering the lid a year ago. All these years….yuck!
But then again, what are my pets dragging around?
