Let’s face it. If you haven’t seen a movie at Kings Plaza for years, multiplying that by hundreds or thousands of people, there is no sense to keep the movie theatre open. How is it supposed to make money and pay their bills, when people see a movie once in 20 years. No wonder the movie closed down after many years in the red.

Earthquake! That was at Kings Plaza? Yeah..and maybe Towering Inferno? I think I saw more movies at Ave U because it was within walking distance, but I definitely hung out at Kings Plaza as a kid!

What’s a mall without a movie theater? I thought that was a must.

I also saw Rocky at the Avenue U theater (what I remember!).

But I do remember waiting for like two hours on line with my brother to see “Earthquake” in Sensaround!
