I would caution anyone reading to do their DD and make sure they are fully aware of ALL laws that pertain to the NY Landlord/Tenant relationship. If you think that using a generic form covers you, you could get yourself into some trouble.

Of the thousands of landlords that we have on our real estate forums, not knowing the law leads to more problems than anything else!
