The Photograph is of Parkside Ave., west of Bedford Ave. This beautiful block is one of several that were in the Landmark Preservation Commission’s original mid-70s PROPOSED PLG Historic District, but were left out of the 1979 HD designation. Some people (mainly on Ocean Avenue) are trying to get the historic district extended–a worthy goal, as this picture shows.
