Have you ever seen the Stewart House in Athens, NY? (My friend Nora did the murals in there, and it’s filled with old-timey ambiance). I’m not sure if they’re open in the winter as a B+B, but you can still get into the restaurant part and look around.

Doesn’t show you all the best parts, though…if you’re ever in the area, it’s definitely worth the look. I just found a bunch of historic photos of what it used to look like, and not much has changed. There’s a link on their site called “Stewart House”, and in their “about us” section, there are a bunch of old photos. Seems like a lot of effort, but the pictures are great!
