I found a great old shabby chic-ish highboy dresser on Queens Blvd. one day. I stood there for more than half an hour with my hand ON IT (as though that would stop anyone else from taking it) and at the same time trying to flag down some van/truck/day worker type moving guys. Alas, I had to let it go.

I'm sorry Ms. Dresser, wherever you are!

I found some vintage chairs and frames just the other day. They were in great shape...just old. Luckily, I didn't have to climb into the dumpster for them.
