Our Maggie is a half pit shelter dog and she&#039;s the most docile dog in the universe.  I did, however, sneeze for weeks on end when we first brought her home (I took one for the team.  If you&#039;re willing to rough it out your body kind of adjusts).</description>

My partner and I just adopted pit mix, Camille, from Brooklyn&#039;s Animal Care and Control last week as a companion for us and our Cinder, pit mix adopted from BARC shelter in Williamsburg.  These dogs are full of love and humor.  They are the ultimate rescue and salvage!</description>
