How did I miss this one? NYC Stuff Exchange launched their site in May, but they’ve had a phone hotline for years. The City of New York offers way for residents to search for places throughout the city where they can donate, sell, buy, rent, or repair gently used items. The goal is to help lessen the City’s waste by encouraging the recycling of materials that might otherwise end up in the dump. There is an events calendar where you can search or submit sales run by non profit organizations.

I’m getting a little (ok, a lot) annoyed with them lately for crap like that…

Did you see what I posted? I credited my own damn self! Trying to step on the little guy (gal). I haven’t noticed they do that, but this one…I would’ve noticed…eventually. Thanks for being my bodyguard.

I typed suppered instead of supposed. I am a rampant typo-ist…and hungry.

I just saw that this morning. They still haven’t credited you. When you sent the tip, was it to your site or directly to NYC Stuff Exchange?

My site. So they had to go through my site first to get to NYC Stuff. Is that bad blogging etiquette or what? You know what? It’s ok. I’m actually getting hits from the link I posted in their comments and I’m also listed on the NYC Stuff Exchange as of Tuesday and that’s been pretty good.

FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
Comment by Murray — November 15, 2007 @ 10:23 am
Ok, kids…Murray, calm down. I just sent them another tip alerting them to the fact that Murray might go postal on them. As much as I love a good drama (and fight!), do I really want to make a stink over this? ILU, you said they do it all the time? I’ve only been blogging 2 months. How big of a deal is this? Seriously, I don’t know.
Comment by RH — November 15, 2007 @ 11:02 am
I don’t see it anymore. Did they take it down?
Comment by Anonymous — November 15, 2007 @ 4:09 pm
Hmm, guess so. Just like I took them off my blogroll. Can we let it rest now?
